Hello Everyone, Hope this post finds you doing well.
Let me start with some background;
I've been a Jeep guy for nearly 45 years.
My first jeep was a '93 YJ with an iron 4. I drove the snot outta him for over 20 years. Nearing the end of his life, I bought a '12 JKU. After building Boney II into an impressive slickrock crawler his 2012 3.6L ate itself at 80k miles at the 4 year mark... CRAP. Then I transitioned into a '24 Willys 4xe, (I live in New York State)where the battery pack would constantly put me into FORM...I hated it.
Presently, I'm leasing a '26 Gladiator Mojave. I believe the 3.6L is currently into its 6th generation... so engine bugs should be gone, but now I'm dealing with connectivity issues between my cellphone & u-connect.
I've had Gumby since mid-May and I've just completed 1k miles on him. In 500miles I'll be doing the oil change from factory fluids to amsoil Lubricants. I've added a bunch of aftermarket items to make life better in Gumby, but I'm pretty certain I'll be making an appointment with my dealership to figure out my connectivity issues.

What color is that? It’s a great looking Jeep. Welcome to the dark side.
2026 ANVIL
In some angles of light it looks steel gray in more direct sunlight it has a lite blue hue.
Thanks for noticing. It's definitely unique.

Meh, no major generational changes in quite a while. We have a 26 JLU and it's really the same engine.
I do wish I had waited and gotten a 26 instead of 25, though - her 26 JLU has a couple minor things I wish my JT had.
Funny thing - I'm on my 3rd JT and we've had several other Jeeps with the 3.6 and so far, knock on wood, no engine issues at all - not a one, not minor or major. No leaks, no cam problems. NO ticking, no valve train clatter when it starts cold.

I'm quite happy with my JTMX other than the wimpy payload - but then, I'll get by - I have trailers.

I’m also seeing some CarPlay/UConnect issues as well.
Sometimes it works just fine, sometimes it connects quickly but briefly and then usually comes back after a bit.
Hasn’t really been anything too consistent and I just got it Monday, so we’ll see what happens. I’ve made the Jeep and phone “forget” each other but that only worked temporarily.

Welcome, though! I’ve had 3 different versions of the Wrangler; 2 doors, 4 doors, and now on my second 4-door with a bed. Simply put, it’s the best vehicle that suits my needs and is still fun and overall enjoyable. Hopefully you’ll find the same!

So, besides the irritating connectivity issues, how is the Mojave treating you so far?

Sweet ride man. My first was a CJ5, moved up to Rubi TJ and on and on. Jeeps get into the blood and never leaves. Amsoil bumper to bumper is a smart idea. Happy Jeeping.

LOL - except for differentials/axles. (and automatics, for that matter, if you knew the history around here)

But it's his to do whatever. Not mine.

Hello,

I own a 2024 Mojave and also experience occasional connectivity issues. It’s not a big deal for me since they usually resolve themselves the next time I start the engine. Hopefully, the dealer can figure out the cause, and please share the solution if they provide one.

Thanks

Agree with all of that but just posting based on my experience using Amsoil bumper to bumper for 40 years in multiple rigs, there have been no problems that I’ve had regarding oil related issues. For me, it’s just a peace of mind thing. Of course others can say the same I’m sure about oil type (fill in the blank). Just my personal experience only.

I run Amsoil in my 8.3 motorhome, the '05 Dodge Cummins, the Jeeps, her Mazda, and everything else. Even my chainsaws which receive the two stroke version. Zero smoke, love it.

Hopefully it is just a minor glitch in the software that they can fix with a reload or update. I just had a unique to me disconnect of Car play this weekend. Had Google maps and spotify on the screen and a disabled vehicle warning ahead flashed on the screen my music paused and it disconnected everything not reconnecting with the phone until stopping and trying a few times to reconnect everything. The only thing i could think of was the software got out of sequence somehow or since it was a dense beach area some other signals interfered with the Bluetooth connection i never thought i would use Carplay before buying the truck but being able to put a road or trail map on the screen has grown on me.

It was probably the Navy playing with their dolphins with laser beams again. :bandit:
