2027 Order Guide no Rubicon X ?

Hi, I've been doing 4-5 dealership to change my Glad Rubicon 2023 for a 2027.

I'm being told that the model Rubicon X doesn't seem to be in the choice. Only Rubicon.
I have the order guide in hand, and no mention either.
Can someone confirm this ?

It looks like the steel bumper will only be offered with the "Capability" package.
Which is not ideal, cause it force the weak 8K warn with the small drum.

Doesn't sound right to me. Very strange for Stellantis not to offer a product with more money-making features that results in higher profits. The X currently lists for about 8k more and I am certain there is more profit built into that number than the standard Rubicon.

in all reality, 27 JTRX's are likely being held off ordering guides until they work through the backlog of 26 JTRX's. Jeep is notorious for limiting options like this before the previous year is sold through.

wait till next month. Rubicon X isnt going anywhere. Also next month you will possible get like 10-12 k off on 2026 X models- Might be wise to snag one of those

I totally agree. If I was in the market now, I would definitely do the "leftover" deals that are offered on inventory that is sitting on the lot. I bought my '24 in Jan of '25 when they were desperate to move the Rubicons and Mojaves off the lots (20% factory discount plus another 14% from the dealer on mine). Those steep discounts are not available now but even at 15-20% off MSRP on a '26, it's a good deal compared to a '27.

you did great!! Sometimes i feel like getting into market then i wake up lol Yes you did great. It does not make sense waiting to order a 2027 while it is the same damm truck plus you can get great deals on a 2026 model

I was originally looking for a Willys. My search got more complicated, when I realized that many dealers will list a Willys on their site as a Sport, which it is, with a "Customer Preferred Package", (24A, I believe). "Rubicon X", is not an actual model; it's just a Rubicon with every package: Tech, Convenience, Safety, Body Color Hard Top and Leather Seats.

Exactly what I did. My Rubi is a leftover '25 with 122 miles on it. It was my unicorn. EXACTLY what I was looking for. I purchased it for 23% off of MSRP. Funny thing is, those older vehicles slip through the cracks. Mine came with a paint protection package and an Inyati Spray in Bed-liner that the dealer didn't even know about. FREE, FREE, FREE! I even negotiated out the $599 "Doc Fee". I saved so much money, I felt bad for the dealer, and bought the 10 Year/120,000 Mile all inclusive warranty, as well. I have to say, though, those guys at Tempe Jeep were FANTASTIC, and I give them huge props. Absolutely NO runaround or trying to upsell garbage, and they were 100% upfront with the numbers. My wife will be going there when she wants to replace her '18 JLUS.

It's great that you have a place (Tempe Jeep) that you have confidence in. Here in South Florida, it is at best a crap shoot. There are probably 12-13 dealers within a 45 minute ride from my house. Arrigo (a mega dealership with four locations) is where I have purchased most of my vehicles for the last 30 years (Dodge Durango, Plymouth PT Cruiser and a half dozen Jeeps). Their parts department sucks and charges full retail. That sends me to Hollywood Jeep or South Miami Jeep, who sell parts, if you smile and are nice to them, at the "transfer" price that they charge other dealerships.

Back to Arrigo, I bought my JTR at one of their dealerships and received the four "free" oil changes. I went in to get my final one done last week (I have about 20k miles on mine now) and was told that I have none remaining. They said since I had already used their dealership twice, I had to go back to the other dealership I actually purchased it from to get the fourth oil change. The service guy was actually quite helpful since I was also going to get my tires rotated and I had a coupon for $9.95 (which I would gladly pay instead of doing it myself). Anyway, the guy searched and searched and found some deal that they do the oil change and rotation for $49.95. Given the fact that it would nearly cost that much to do that myself, I agreed and the guy even apologized that they could not do it for free. So, I still have my fourth oil change in my pocket but have to go to another one of their dealers next time.

Overall, I still like your Tempe Jeep experience.
