VIN SPECIFIC BATTERY PACK ? IS IT 4XE .
It is not A 4XE. Standard JL Rubicon gasser.

This battery pack is something new to me as well. My understanding it is the “whole system” the 2 batteries are located within. It must come directly from Chrysler and is VIN specific.

Good news is that Jeep Cares finally got involved and is getting things moving. Hope to have the “part” this week.

Im in the northeast of MA and called Kelly jeep, and their suggestion was not to drive it, but also couldn’t provide me with any sort of alternate transportation if I were to drop it off.
I bought mine at Central Jeep in Norwood, and they put me in a rental Wrangler for the day when I came in to have my Gorilla Glass windshield replaced on warranty. Not sure if that was just because I purchased there or if they would do it for any service customer, but you might give them a call. (The sales side of the house is a nightmare, but pleased with service so far.)

I can't imagine buying a new Wagoneer, for $104,000.00 and getting the same poor service experience most here report getting.
I agree even at 60k it better be Lexus type experience. Plus at 104k I can't imagine the depreciation on an suv like that.

IMO almost all customer service has declined in every industry with them all blaming Covid or materials shortages, customers have for the most part accepted it as it is so wide spread. There are no consequences for poor customer service anymore and IMO that is the only thing that can force customer service to come back.
Don't forget the fake "can't get anyone to work" theory that they use. I like to look for the good and positive so for me it was that now I know for sure which companies were the most commy during covid, like Costco for example and I don't renew and stop buying from them. It basically exposed all the garbage companies out there.

When I had my F150 there were a few recurring issues and a couple one offs (plus TSBs) that I was in service for under warranty for a fair number of periods (good reason not to get a first model year of a major refresh). Now when I had purchased I rolled in what I think it was called 'premium care' or something that extended the warranty and came with guaranteed rental car (and it always seemed to be another F150 (and a couple explorers when I said SUV was fine) at that from enterprise). Had I not had the premium care I do not think there would have been any guaranty on rental, and I would have been subject to the service manager picking me for one of their loaners (which did not seem to be plentiful back then, let alone how they would be now).

There I went against my standard rule of skipping all extended warranties (being based on the belief that the cost of all warranties is likely to exceed the costs of al actual repairs). That said, it appeared to work out for me in that case at least from a convenience perspective (especially since the extended warranty was pro-rata refundable when I sold the truck prior to the expiration period). Have not looked into Jeep's extended options to know if is structured similarly. - anyone with experience here able to comment?

The service experience at a Ford/Chevy/Jeep dealership is likely going to be worlds away from a Lincoln/Cadillac - let alone a Mercedes. I do wonder if that is the reason for making the Wagoneer a sub-brand, and if there are some luxury benefits to go with that price tag - but even if true, it still doesn't make sense to me as you would have to sit in the same waiting room and talk to the same service advisors with the dude/gal who has the beat up renegade.

Despite the fact that Jeeps can get way up there in price, you have to remember they are still selling renegades, compasses, and base stripper wranglers. Just because the consumer wants more and more content and is willing to pay for it on a higher trim, doesn't elevate the brand to a 'luxury brand'.

This sounds like a reasonable solution. The dealer never offered me this though. I know they have rental reimbursement through the jeep wave, but not only covers a small amount after I pay for it.
Wave program pays for the rental. Your dealer should set it up for you. Did it several times with no issue.

The one thing I can add to this is the dealership you purchase a vehicle from will be more willing to help you out than one you didn't buy it at. A warranty is a warranty but the dealerships by me, Southeast Connecticut, will and have offered me services like this because I bought the vehicle from them. I personally would never expect that to happen if I was getting service from another one. Dealerships will always say they treat their customers like family...only if you buy the vehicles from them. I've used the same dealership for my last 3 vehicles, plus, it's 2 minutes from my house. Prices may not be the greatest, they aren't the worst, but I never get ripped off and they've been there for us when we need a loaner and whatever else.

That's all I got to say about that...take it or leave it

I can get you a job selling cars….100% commission. Averaging like 7 new cars a month arriving and about 40 used cars on the lot. Or can you can be a tech……paid 100% on wrench time only; just make sure all the parts are in time so you can actually install them

Doesn’t seem that appealing currently does it?

My selling dealer provided a Rental car under Jeep Cares for the 1 service i brought in my JT. The servicing dealer that i use put me off for 2 months for a " Loaner Car". Not available. Jeep (doesn't) Cares requires a Loaner vehicle for any service for 36mths/36,000 miles. My servicing Jeep Dealer(who screwed me out of the 2018 Test Drive coupon) is going to get all my Free service for the 36/36 period. This affects his Parts and Service account with Stellantis.
