Preface by saying I am a Newbie in the jeep world

Looking for advice/opinions on wheel offset. I have 285/70/17 ko2’s on 2020 gladiator sport S. I like a classic/aggresive look, but this is more daily driver than overlander. Everyone is saying go to level/lift kit and 35’s, but that seems to the lead to adjust gearing etc $$$

any insights are appreciated. Would like to keep the the same tires and would also like to not risk potential damage or noticeable performance change.

Just for viewing purposes here is mine. Running 295/70/17 Nittos on Black Rhino 17"x9.5" -18 offset. I ran into an amazing deal on the rims which is the only reason I went with this offset. Now that I have it, I love it. One pic (snow) is the Nittos on stock rims, the others are the same Nittos on the Black Rhino rims. The tires don't even look the same.

Wow, looks great! Happy with it?
Sorry for delay had been traveling so didn't have chance to get on here for a week plus.

Yes I like it, only real noticeable difference is the growling of the tires and it of course catches the wind at freeway speed. But not much difference then with the tires tucked under.
