I see everyone with smaller propane tanks but I wanted more propane. I got a 30lb tank and was trying to figure out how to transport it securely. When I had the 20lb it would usually vibrate itself loose and wasn’t really secure.
I ordered a wall mount and a base. The mount is secured to the factory rail, I added the rubber since the mount isn’t perfectly matched to tank, and separate d-rings holding the Howl pit. Combined these two are now solid and secured.
I didn’t want to go with an extra hitch mounted carrier or a swing out bumper.
