I picked up one from Camping World which I now see is $10 higher than when I bought it last year. I thought I was getting a good deal until I ordered the hose needed from Amazon in addition to the rubber edging. In the end, it was a wash from just ordering the Ignik combo from Amazon. If I had to do it over, I'd do Ignik all the way. Especially if you are going to be in the market for mounting hardware as I doubt the Worthington has many aftermarket options.

The real trouble I ran into was trying to get it filled. It seemed like everywhere I went, the minimum fill was for a 10#. ACE looked at me like I had three heads when I said 5# tank. I ended up at Southern States where they still charge by the amount purchased rather than "prix fixe".
That’s weird, our ACE thought it was super cool and told me to always come to them because they would only charge me for what I put in, even if it is only a couple of pounds.

I get mine filled by Uhaul no problem. Got my bottle from campworld as well and agree that I should have gone with the iknik. Will probably be grabbing their 10lb kit since I'll be using it for our gas fire pit as well as cooking here in the west.

I got mine refilled yesterday from the local propane supplier. $4.98. Obviously quite a bit better value than the green cans…

My local ace fills propane tanks no problem. On a full size tank it’s not that much cheaper than an exchange but it makes a huge difference versus the green cans.

PSA: REI has them on sale. Bonus if you have divided points.

Wish they had the Deluxe X on sale since I would really like a 10# tank. Not sure how long it would last with cooking, a fire pit, and possibly heating. That said, I don't think I've used 5 green cans in a weekend. plus I have the sports basement free refillable 1# cans now. hmmm. I think I might have answered my own question. lol

I was looking at the 10# aluminum as well. But this is a good deal at about 1/3rd the price. Figure I can carry both if needed. And yeah, the fire pit can suck up a whole lot of gas depending how big your flame is.
