There's supposed Toledo production line workers in TK's comments section, stating that they're already building Wranglers with 5.7s.
Mid year 26 models 🤷🏼‍♂️ MY 27 with 5.7s 🤞?

Why the 5.7 when there's already the 6.4 out there to buy?
If they were building them, then a dealer could order them. They don't build something dealers can't get.

I know it's all hearsay at the moment. Those commenting could just be a Joe Smuckatelli blowing smoke.

Could also be a part of the 12 Duck Drops too. As there's already speculation that several of the 12 special Ducks are 392s or Hemis. Time will tell.

I think MY27 will be a great year for the Gladiator.

If it happens, my bet is on 2027.
They do the 392/6.4 in the Wrangler, why would they scale that back to a 5.7 for the JT?

All anything on the internet is is speculation.
people speculated up the wazoo already about several things - all of that speculating, demanding, take my money talk - nothing for 2025 or even 26 so far.

That was me asking for receipts, I was thinking maybe he is seeing them working on 5.7L prototypes? Just a thought-
Yeah, if they were building anything for real - a dealer could get them. It's not the case at this point. So they aren't building anything for public consumption

Seems to me that with the 6.4 in the Wrangler, they'd be duplicating a lot of effort to DOWNSIZE the engine for the JT!
Why put a bigger engine in a Wrangler that doesn't tow shit and the smaller one in a TRUCK?............
Towing with the 6.4 in the JLU is 3,500
Towing with the 3.6 in the JLU is 5,000
Interesting.......

You missed my point, I guess.
Same wheelbase, hemi 6.4 rated 3500 while the 3.6 is 5000 same wheelbase

I don't think a 5.7 JT will happen because SAE J2807 prevented the 2.0T and I don't see how shoe-horning a V8 into that little engine bay could be better. But IF it happens I'll be first in line at the dealership.
