I received a set of ARTEC Industries JL A-Pillar Dual LED Cube Light Mounts, as they were ones (at the time) that could fit on my 24 Mojave. Now that I'm actually enjoying summertime here in Anchorage, I decided to tool some more on the Dreadnought.

Found out that:

1. They were designed around Rigid D-Series 3x3 Cube LEDs
2. They could not be assembled without the lights in hand first.

So.

I'd rather not shell out the $300 or so to upgrade to these specific cubes.
Does anyone know of any other compatible/comparable cubes that would also fit in these brackets with me having to do serious changes to either the bracket or the cubes?
Yes, I do realize how crappy most cube lights are, but hey, they are what I can do right now.

I plan on placing one set on at a time, having the upper cubes be flood ditch lights, and the lower cubes be forward spots.
Id rather have the ditch lights be first, and both sets be amber.

Please help.

nah there's not much under 300 thats gonna fit. best bet is to measure distance and then compare to dimensions of cubes on Amazon and Infinite offroad

I’ve got the Artec single pillars which are the same design. You can use any lights I’d think as long as you have them in your possession at time of install. I went with Baja Designs XLR-80’s for reference. These are the Driving combo (spot/flood beam). If I did it again I’d go with the dual mount and have a pair of S1 wide cornerings as ditch lights. As for your setup I’d stay away from flood pattern unless you do the Rigid DSS line which is side shooters reducing the hood glare or plan to face angled out. I will say the Artec mounts are solid and move the lights further outside your windshield view which is a huge reason I went with them.

So you have these brackets that are designed specifically for the Baja Designs D series lights?

You'll need to find lights that are less than 1.93" wide so that they will fit between the two brackets, plus some washers / spacers to fill in any gaps.

You wrote that you "received" these, so I'm guessing that it may be unacceptable to buy a set of brackets that have more traditional mounting, such as:

and then just use whatever cube lights that meet your needs / budget.

That’s a good point if they are not the 392/Mojave brackets they will not work based on the mounting points as the Mojave has a taller cowl than the Rubicon and other models.

Worry not, they are the ones meant for the Mojave/392 cowling.

I have mine installed without lights. I had some extra bolts from a winch install kit and mounted them with no lights. They look a little silly empty, but they're ready to go. I may actually install some 2' LED whips in the top location, just for fun.
