Hey everyone!

I have a 2020 Unlimited Sport with the trash 5” radio. I have read on here that its a simple plug and play to move up to 7” aside from losing sound knobs and not being able to use temp controls on radio. Can anyone that has done this let me know:
1. Is the backup cam compatible? I have seen where if I install a non-OEM stereo that I will lose backup cam and have to also install a separate backup cam.
2.Has anyone been able to add volume or temp controls on 7” stereo?
3. As far as sirius, I don’t really need this but believe a separate XM antenna has to be installed? Anyone add that as well and whats involved?
Appreciate any and all help/advice! If its a simple swap I would much rather buy a used 7” screen with codes then spending over a grand for aftermarket radio with kits, cameras, etc.

Everything is a straight swap I have one from my 2022 if you want it. I’ve been trying to sell it on marketplace with no bites.

I would be interested provided you had the security code. My local dealership, even with VIN, won't provide a code. Also I would be curious on price and how exactly I would buy it. Thanks!

I just bought an 8.4 Panasonic factory radio for my daughters JL. I found that the code for it is very simple. All you need is the serial number from the 8.4 and use the last 4 digits of the serial number. The lets say the last 4 digits are 2130. You will subtract 21 from 100 which is 79 and subtract 30 from 99 which is 69. The code is 7969.
I found this on a dodge forum. Worked great for my daughter.
