I never pay attention to mpg because, frankly, I don't care. It's not why I bought my truck.

However, I knew guys here watch it like a hawk for some reason so I reset the counter for the first time since I bought it right after the gears were installed. No hard data yet, but it is trending up by about 1.0-1.5 mpg.
Well if its up 1-1.5, then you obviously are in fact paying attention. All im asking is up from what?
Pretty simple question.

Paying attention as far as taking note of the lifetime average before I hit the button last week, to comparing that to what it says this morning.

Lifetime: 12.5
This morning: 13.7

I have 37-12.50 BFG KO2 so really it's 36.5. I am going with 4.88s so at 80 I will be turning 2400RPM. That seems about right to me. you can check your RPM and speed here.http://www.grimmjeeper.com/gears.html

With the 5.38's, mine turns 2550ish. I love this gear set.
