Thanks for the reconnaissance @steffen707 -

umm... next question - are you going to make visiting her a thing... ? :CWL:
What, it's only been 2-3 times in 2 days. It was Sunday, she was lonely.. ... We have a bond!

I wasn't planning on buying that anyways. I prefer a hard tonneau like the Diamond back (at the upper end) or the BakFlip (on the lower end). However, I'm still undecided on how I'm going to proceed.

fair enough. That Diamond Back with the ATV on top capability looks awesome. My dad tows a trailer to michigan each time he goes to his deer stand because of ATV. It would be sweet if I could just throw mine on top of my truck, lmao.

yea, that's my thinking too. Also, there are models that allow this top and still have the ability to mount a bed top rack for a tent.

I've used the BakFlip on my past pickups. It was a little less secure but still did the job. I'm going all out for this Gladiator.

my buddy was disappointed with his bakflip and f150. I'd love the look on his face when i stroll into Deer Camp with a new JT and an ATV on top. Priceless!

Absolutely! I'm not trying to deter people from buying one, i just want them to be informed about the possibliities. I don't usually drive around with valuable stuff in my van CURRENTLY, i don't know why all of a sudden with a truck i would willy nilly leave tools or guns in the back, lol.
Pretty easy to rig a clip (to top) that can be padlocked to the bed rail, (only unlocked when tailgate is open)!
Of course, it’ll only inhibit thieves who don’t carry knives... but there’s the very reason they don’t make most cloth enclosures lockable to begin with! Sliced open tonneau covers, (like convertible soft tops), look pretty sorry, all stitched up! ;{

The Diamond Back stuff is NICE... buddy has one on his truck and I'm 100% sold on one of those being the first accessory that I buy.
