I just read that too. I didn’t know that the first 500 miles of towing regardless of non towing miles on the truck also requires a break-in period. At least that’s how I read it.

I didn’t realize this either. Guess it’s too late though for me. My first heavy tow was 500 miles round trip on interstate so I exceeded 50mph for most of it by 10-15mph.

Yep, my first real tow was 900 miles at hiway speeds as well. I guess I better sell. LOL

Well my first tow won’t be until I’ve gotta move across the country next year. I’ll do my best to stay under 50 mph for 500 miles but I doubt I’ll make it far going that slow lol.

Yep, that's how I read it as well. It is a separate break in period for towing. I wonder if it has to do with the computer for transmission and towing?

Yea it definitely could be. I wish they had included those details. Oh well…I’ll do it correctly, but I’ll complain the entire time ?
