One more question if you don't mind. How does the Fox Box look with the seat down? I've narrowed my sub(s) decision down to the Stinger Dual 8s ported, Alpine Halo Dual 8 ported, or the Fox Box with decent 10" I already have. I'm leaning towards the Stinger because of the mounting system and retaining the factory jack location. But, I would save a few hundred dollars and a lIttle space on the ends of the Fox Box like you mentioned.
Here is a picture with the seat up, the seat has to be raised 2" to fit the box. It is VERY uncomfortable to sit in the back seat with lifted.

Thank you dayusmc. I wouldn't raise a backseat again. I did that with a RAM and had two Alpine Type R 12" in a fiberglass box. It was also uncomfortable for those with long torsos, but the lack of bass was never an issue.

I was asking about the single 10" FoxBox. I don't think one would be able to see it with the rear doors open and the backseat down--unless someone was to bend down and purposely look under the seat.

I have heard good things about the FoxBox, but its not the most cosmetically appealing under rear seat sub. Its sounds like the best bang for your buck option for those seeking more output over stock and other offerings, but I'm still leaning towards the downfiring options--Stinger, Alpine, or the JL Stealthbox. There is just way too many ways to spend on upgrades on these Jeeps.

Thank you for the write up. My plan is similar. Did you use the Metra JP 1018 Speaker Grill cut-ins? They open up the factory grills for the front mids from 4" to 6 1/2".
i had to Google them, looks like a cool product, though I think those are for the upper dash position? If so, I used the Terra Acoustics set up in that spot, and they include their own replacement grills to locate/mount their tweeter.

One more question if you don't mind. How does the Fox Box look with the seat down? I was concerned about this as well and it actually turned out well, the box is tucked under the seat just enough and it is dark enough to where it doesn't look out of place. I actually asked Fox if they could do one without their logo on the front for an additional charge (no dice), so I just took the gamble and it has worked out well.

Ok, so the plug that is exposed and that we are looking at is the OUTPUT plug of the factory amp? Is that correct? And the harness CH03(?) it looks like only a 4 channel plug, I have a 4 channel amp, does that mean I need to get an 8channel? Also, thank you so much for your reply man, building this thing get frustrating.
No. Nothing connects to the output of the factory amplifier unless you are re-using some of the factory amp channels.

It is two plugs that total 12 channels as the factory system is 12 channels, and PAC gives you the option to switch to external amplification for all of them. Most will not reuse the 4 channels that are for the sub, but you could (factory sub powered by an aftermarket amp)

If I add a sub box again, it will be the JL Audio one.
I am really hoping to just change out the factory sub and add a 5 Channel amp, bit we will see very soon, I have to do my wife's JLU first...
