I changed the Auto tranmission fluid and filter ... what did it look like?
I also changed transfer case oil, put in a new rear track bar that offers more clearance for 37's, Pressed in new Synergy HD ball joints, New Reid knuckles, New brakes, new Hubs, rebuilt RCV joints.... and I have two or three other things to finish before spring.
I saved the hubs... gave one to family for a spare and kept one for a spare. I won't change the current ones until a clear sign of failure now.
I needed new brakes -they might have lasted a couple more months... went with same rotors and had them resurfaced.
I do not think the transmission fluid looks "lifetime".... looks like normal transmission fluid that wears out. I put in a new filter- and did see some metal on magnets in the pan (powder stuff- no chunks)
Belt will be replaced next...and pulleys while I have the stuff off (one of them is chirping now).
