Okay, I’ll start then. And I don’t know if this is exactly what you’re talking about but it’s for me and not as a look at me. And please excuse my dust and dirt, I do play in the desert, and wasn’t expecting to have to run out and snap pics.
I just really hate black, especially on white, so here’s what I did for me. The shadows kind of throw it off but the colors on the exterior are the same as the interior.

THANK YOU for fighting against the monotony of endless black interiors!

I'm a member of MOJO (Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization) and see a lot of color accented Jeeps. Guys tend to go back and lime green or red. Girls tend to go white and you name it!

I’m going to have to get a pic of one. These types of accents I understand. I’m taking about when it looks like 1/2 of the jeep is rattle canned a very loud neon color, and there doesn’t seem to be rhyme or reason for what they chose to paint.

I won’t do stick on or a cheezy spray paint on things just for the sake of it. But if the accessory/mod comes in purple there’s a good chance I’m gonna try and fit it in.

Outside I tried to keep it to black and red. But the inside, I indulged.

The bug got copper/orange as it’s accent. But again, purple gotta be applied.

One of my previous cars, i got a good deal on, but the interior was beige. I drove a couple hours a day commuting and after a year, I couldn’t stand it anymore and sold it, oddly for a beige (khaki) exterior. But a had welcoming black interior.

At the end of the day, gotta have fun. ?

I appreciate the compliment guys :)

So I've never heard of accent color being a thing, I just really like blue. It made sense to me when planning the build to buy a paint color that would compliment my "accent color", then just paint all my aftermarket mods that color. It's also nice having all your accessories a color that is easy to fix with a rattle can when I eventually scratch it up...

I've only seen one other person with it though. I met someone else in a parking lot who had done something similar with her Wrangler. Her bumpers and rock rails were a really nice purple.

The teal in question:

There was guy in my XJ forum that had a white Jeep with purple bumpers and rockrails etc. It was interesting. Your build rocks BTW!

It is very popular around here. Some go a bit overboard with it. And some people use accent colors that do not compliment the main color.

Another big trend around here, which is annoying, is colored headlights and fog lights. Especially when they do red or blue. Illegal but they do it anyway.

My Mojave came with orange accent everything. :p
except on the manual transmission stick and locker face plate, for some reason they used red (I know the reason, save money, but still).....

I’m gonna be doing a “Mojave orange” scheme. Just got some orange d-rings. Gonna be changing the “trail rated” badge and the jeep tailgate badge to the factory grey w/orange ones. I want to keep it almost factory looking; so I like how I can replace all of the badging and add orange accents with factory parts. Now if only the rear orange tow hooks didn’t cost $250! I think I’ll just paint those myself. :CWL: Should look great with granite!

Easy to do with a rattle can.

Duplicolor paints are available at Auto Zone/Advance/NAPA and replicate factory paint codes really well. Painted my shackles and wheel inserts and they turned out good.

Wow I didn’t even think of that. I wonder if they’d have the orange since it’s not an actual factory paint? But an accessory color instead. I’m gonna look into this! Mopar should offer the Mojave orange as a touch up paint

Does flat black count as an accent on a black jeep… if so, I’ve been part of the trend for 4 jeeps in a row..

Get a cheap toaster oven, a harbor freight powder coating kit, and order your color- powder coat them yourself since they are small and you are set up for any other small things in the future!
