hey y’all,
found out that under the main battery is a secondary battery on gladiator and I assume that is for the diesel as well. Wonder about the need of adding a third battery for CB and CB power amp, lights and any possible extra accessorie. I have the eco diesel overland.

The small battery is to keep all the computers stable during ESS events. Another battery is a good plan to power additional devices. The Genesis Dual Battery kit is a good option, but I don't know if they support the diesel engine yet. I went the DIY route and mounted a battery box to the frame behind the right rear wheel, with a Smart Isolator in the engine bay. It's been two years in the heat and starting a third summer. I anticipate replacing all three batteries in the near future.

I was thinking of mounting one in bed or in spare tire port with rack that I could lower. Lithium ion battery with a solar charger. Just not sure of modifications yet with brand new rig.
