Hi. Dealer added the power to the truck bed. It doesn't work. It's activated with the scan tool. Does there need to be a switch to turn it on/off?

There's a thread, I think in the DIY section, that goes over all the parts and steps necessary to make it work.

Was the dealer unable to help? I'd think it's their responsibility to correct it if they did the install.
They are trying to figure out what to do...

There is a switch that goes in the cab to turn on power to the bed outlet. There's at least one wiring harness that needs to be installed. There is also the assumption that it came from the factory with the inverter and interior outlet installed.

Assuming they got all the hardware in (including the switch at the front), the computer also has to be flashed. Some users have reported dealers won’t do it, so most resort to using a Tazer Mini.

Correct assumptions. Mopar wiring harness, inverter and interior outlet are there. Don’t have the switch.

Good points. We’ve flashed with the Tazer. I’ll ask the dealer to use their scan tool for redundancy.
