Ok, I know it's me. BUT, for the love of God. How do you add apps to the 7" display? I have the S22 ultra, the android auto app in the cell somewhere. (there is No icon to represent it). The cell phone hooks fine, but the Glad's top display says "no device". Then I went to settings and there's check boxes for the icons that are on the screen like Maps. I want to add an app (Waze) or maybe mirror the phone. HELP please.

Unless they've changed it for '22, you cannot add apps to the head unit. All you have is what's available from the phone using Android Auto. The apps that are compatible with Android Auto seems to vary from phone to phone. If you don't have an icon on the phone for Android Auto, try reinstalling it from the app store.

It's all from your phone, not the head unit. The head unit just duplicates your phone. But, only certain apps are "approved" for Android Auto. Other apps don't work, and sometimes, after an upgrade, it messes things up.When my galaxy S10+ upgraded to Android 12, maps and Waze disappeared from Android auto.

To get them back, I cleared the cache for maps, Waze, and Android Auto. Then they were back the next time I plugged my phone in.

Also. Dumb question, perhaps, but you are using a wired connection, correct? The jeeps don't have wireless AA

Just downloaded the AAAD app, dl'ed AA Mirror. It mirrors the S22Ultra Samsung phone. But, the funny thing is my phone's screen is bigger than the car's display. But, turn the S22 sideways and the car screen is 3x's bigger. Yeah. Now I can use the Waze app or ANYTHING from my cell. One issue when I switch back to the car's screen the radio automatically plays. Any way to disable the AM, FM, and Sirius, besides clicking the steering wheels right back center button?

Yes wired, went through 3 cables including USB-1 to USB-3 and a USB-3 to USB-3. FINALLY, got connected. Luck of the Irish. Right?
