Anyone out there installed one of these PWM fan controllers? I'm looking to be able to adjust when the cooling fan comes on / hits 100% power and be able to manually turn it to 100% to help speed up cool down before shutting the engine down. I've used the RPM extreme one in my 07 JK when I upgraded to a 2021+ PWM fan but they haven't tested their unit with a JT diesel yet. Looking at them all I am leaning towards the Noak-Adpat one (which looks to support the JTs) even though the post 20 min cool down timer of the Derale sound like a cool feature. Wish there was some easy way to have a timer you could set so I could walk away and the truck would just shut down after a few minutes.

Another option... Use the tazer... Easy to use and has many other awesome functions. No timer function though

No go for me with idash, pedal monster and stinger stereo. Too much on the canbus already, pretty sure it won't work. I can't even get jscan to run without disconnecting stuff.

I am pretty certain Tazer will work with both. It does not plug into the OBD port, you put it in Up stream to bypass the gateway

I have a Tazer and all the Banks bits to include the Derringer but don't have the Stinger and it works. However, I want to get the Stinger in the near future and might need to reconsider.

Stinger pulls data off the Canbus for live gauges. I have to unplug my banks idash and turn off the Stinger to even get my Jscan bluetooth OBD device to work properly. Jscan has a feature to force the fan to high speed but it can't do it with the Stinger and iDsash connected.

I have the bypass cables - ie security gateway is disconnected.

Nope, stinger is proprietary, you can't install apps. You can only use Android auto.

the tazer makes it so you could plug it in to the OBD port without the bypass cables. the tazer plugs in as the gateway

I can't seem to find it currently, but I know I saw a cable/adapter on here somewhere to use the bus connections behind the glove compartment for the Banks stuff. Thats where the Stinger connects as well. Seems like that would free up the connection under your steering wheel for the Tazer if that's the concern.

Unless the Banks is creating some kind of conflict, I can attest that a Stinger Horizon 10, a Tazer permanently installed, and using JSCAN and ALFAobd on occasion though the OBD port works exactly as I would expect it to. No conflicts with those.

Saw another post on Facebook where someone was asking if anyone is near Gardendale, AL just North of Birmingham. Sounds like RPM extreme is looking for someone to test their PWM controller with a diesel 3.0 Gladiator as they have not been able to get someone in to test with yet. If anyone is interested in it and close would be a great option to have available to the diesel gladiators. I have one for my 07 JK when I added the 2012+ PWM fan and it allows you to have multiple manual inputs to control the fan with switches.

@Thunderspud- Interesting. I have the pedal monster as well maybe that is the problem. If you start up jscan with the car running can you enable/disable full fan speed in the trail dash view and have it adjust consistently with the change in jscan? You have the horizon as well i have the older model stinger from 4ish years back , i wonder if that could be the issue.

Question about your stinger horizon, does your rear camera turn on/stay on if you select it manually well driving on the highway or does it shut off after 30 seconds or so?
