I have the MC 4.5" GC kit in the garage.
i see from your sig that you installed the GC lift. How is it? Did you retain the factory shocks if you did, does it still do well with bumps/the go fast off-roading that makes stock Mojave great?

So with the MC GC 4.5 I opted to retain the OEM Mojave shocks for now using they drop brackets. If you want max articulation youll want longer shocks.

1) Shocks ground truth, not ideal for nor works well with the heavier spring rate. At low speeds not a fan, at high(er) not bad. If you spend this much money, time and labor on the lift.......get the right shocks. I admit I was being cheap. I will be ordering the MC adjustable black shock built for the Mojave.

2) the instructions were good, only point of contention is the "rough" measurements for the front LCAs/UCAs.........not even close. I opted at this point to have a local Jeep Pro help me out. From the base "Instructional" measurements fell way short.......I'm already discussing with MC to improve and save future customers a bunch of time adjusting. We ended up spinning the LCAs out another 12 turns out/forward and the UCAs 9 turns out forward.

2a) end result was well worth it. Move the front axle forward which is better for on road stability AND no bowing in the coil springs.

2b) got the front pinion angle perfect as well. With the 4.5" kit you have to get a different front driveshaft......gotta pay to play.

3) the rear UCAs and LCAs were almost dead nuts and probably been fine BUT I turned out the rear UCAs to get my rear pinion angle perfect......took me longer to get it on jack stands and R&R the wheels.

- So inclusion would I do it again, fuck yeah
- would I recommend this kit, for fuckin sure. You can't beat @Metalcloak customer service, price for quality and Made in the USA.......bonus, you won't have to worry about tariffs lol.

There is the ground truth from a guy that bought it all, installed in my garage with jack stands and a couple floor jacks. If anyone has any questions or further talking points just hit me up...... knowledge is power and cheaper than paying a shop $100-200 an hour to install it.

Cheers........now go order parts and wrench on your shit box lil
