Im getting mine line-x'd next week. $675 was what they quoted me. I figure that is a steal.
Since we're both in KY, I figured I'd chime in. Had my LineX done last week. Standard material (gonna due a tonneau) was $510 plus tax. This was in the Lexington area.

what were the rules after you got it done? example: "dont haul firewood for 48 hours" etc

Pretty much that, as I recall. Like, nothing really heavy or sharp. Maybe 24 hrs. Frankly I didn't pay much attention because I knew I wouldn't be hauling anything soon. And they didn't bring it up; I asked. So I figured it wasn't a significant issue.

Line-X was the only option for me. I’ve had it in multiple trucks and it’s been fantastic. In GA I paid $405 OTD for my basic spray in.
I am in GA as well. Just curious where you are located and which Line-X location you went to?

I used Line-X in Gainesville. They’re across the road from Lam’s.

UncleChanBlake, can you provide details on the D rings you used? I'd like to get some too. Thanks in advance
Absolutely. Go to the link below, shared by another forum member. That is where I got mine. I put them in with the screws listed below. The difference between mine and the Amazon ones are that I dipped mine in a rubber coating to protect the bed before I x-lined.

d-rings:

bolts:
M6-1.0 x 25mm Flanged Button Head...

It has been suggested that I get some bigger washers to put between bolt and d-ring because the d-ring will bend under pressure. I’ve not done that yet.

I had Line-X put in mine at a local shop. Be sure to tell them to plug all bolt holes. I assumed that they would have, but I was wrong. Took some work to clean the threads so I could install my tri-fold tonneau cover.

My local shop plugged then lightly reamed the holes with a step drill. Didn’t have to ask. They just told me they would. They will get a repeat customer.

They told me how to clean the holes, when they should have. They have lost me as a customer.

The dealer I went through uses Bullet Liner. It has more gloss than the Line-X on my Silverado. It has more of a plastic feel and seems to be applied in a thicker coat. They're both extremely durable. The Line-X doesn't like solvents. They leave stains in quick order. The Bullet Liner is more susceptible to heat- I have a few tiny spots in mine from weld spatter. The Bullet Liner does seem to stay cleaner longer.

Protective coatings have come so far in the past few decades, I'm sure that any professional bed liner will work well.

Ordering a 21 JT....was going to go with a Bedrug. Now I'm wondering if I should go with Line-X.
Or.....is there any reason not to do both...other than money?

After reading everyone here and looking at some Gradiaotor's on the lot, I'm going to go with a Line-X liner. From the factory its $500, here in SC I talked to my local Line-X and he charges $475 out the door for the normal liner and $575 for the UV protected. For $75 more than the factory it should be a much better product and a longer warranty. I'm not sure what the dealership would do if there was a tear in the liner.
