I decided to get my Gladiator without the factory bedliner, after looking at it on another rig. It was thin, unimpressive, and didn’t seem like it would be very long-lasting or durable. After looking into the aftermarket spray-on bedliner with the most notable reputation and warranty, I was stoked to find the price was less than the factory option. The line had been drawn.
My bedliner will be sprayed at 1/8” thick with a lifetime warranty. I saw videos showing it tested on military vehicles from bomb blasts, science experiments on famous TV shows, and other crazy places like wind tunnels to test against tornado debris!
Cheaper and far better that only takes 3 hours for them to complete. It’s set to be applied on Tuesday and I’ll post pictures next week.

I did the same.

Plus, it didn't hold up my order that way.

The line-x video shows up to 1/8” thick. Does yours seem that thick?
I can understand how that might seem a little thick.

I haven't measured it. But it seemed similar or slightly thicker than the factory spray in. Plus, it covers more area, such as the gap between the bed and tail gate, unlike the factory coating.

Hey guys first post here , I order my without the factory bed liner and in the process of been build I had a call from jeep/dealer asking the reason I explained to then that I can get a better product aftermarket in the price range also that I don’t believe that the factory liner was superior than aftermarket options, when truck arrive they do add the spray liner in the bed at no cost and also a little card with a 7 years warranty on it, of course you can’t beat that in my window sticker you can see that they charge me and credit the $495 for the liner im happy it was free hope last never know what is going to be haul in that bed over time

I called two Line-X shops in Denver (Broadway and Castle Rock) ... quoted $525 and $550 for Standard, or $650 and $700 for Premium. Anyone else in Denver, what did you pay?

I cannot really compare factory vs LINE-X. I paid $500 for the standard LINE-X. I didn't care for the more glossy look of the Premium. I am happy with the lifetime warranty of the LINE-X. Plus I am supporting a local small business man. LIFE IS GOOD!

I’m getting it applied right now. Standard liner because I didn’t like the shine of the upgrade for UV protectant. Besides, it will fade in color similar to everything else on the Jeep.
It’s not 1/8” thick. It’s approximately 3/32nds, so it’s still thicker than factory option. It can be sprayed thicker but it’s not necessary.

I had stated this on the other Line-x post, but I'm in Long Island, and have found the Line-X installer near me is price gouging a bit as he's the only one around. Yonkers is about an hour and a half away, and they quoted me $200 cheaper than the one 20 minutes away. Sad that some business owners step over a dollar to get a dime.

I'd find an additional reason to head toward Yonkers and take a road trip, if it were me. I'm a big believer of voting with my dollars; wish more folks did the same. Giblet-heads . . .

Look at him like a dealer selling a jt with a 2k markup and run!

And to top it off, he all of a sudden drops it 100 bucks once i told him i shopped around and says “we’re all required to have the same prices as line-x authorized installers, what would make you happy?” Once I told him one of the other guys was 200 cheaper, then he started telling me some story that it costs them a certain amount, and the other authorized rep prolly isn’t using true line-x, etc.

It’s been a couple days since it was applied. It’s been filled with camping gear, washed, rained on, and even birds tested it. At first, it seemed a bit soft but it feels more solid now. It is definitely thicker than the factory option and thins toward the edges. The texture is thicker than the factory option but still smooth. The front rail of the bed that was left uncovered from the factory is covered now. It all looks impressive and handled everything without concerns.
By the way, I did call and compare with rhino liner; cost was similar for standard and upgraded versions. The rhino dealer said it’s almost exactly the same formula.
