Aftermarket Soft top?

just wanted to say W T H...why hasn’t a single after market soft top been released!? Of even hinted at...im not on facebook so maybe ive missed it. But it seems the after market is slow to respond to the JT...and even slower to care about our tops.

Unless I am mistaken, Bestop make the OEM tops for Jeep. So they are not going to be able to make a competing product for a while.

They do make the oem top but my guess is with the sales #s being relatively low With the JT is it even worth their while?

I talked to the Bestop people at the Bantaam Jeep fest last year and they said they will probably not be making an aftermarket top for the Gladiator. They make the make the factory top and with the shape of the Gladiator there aren't other options for another configuration.

Thanks for asking Lee. An option to extend the folded top down fabric, to on top of the actual bed. If you were hauling something in the bed it would also be nice to have the current "man bun" look if possible. Cheers!

I don’t mind the current top so much but wish it had a quick release rather than having to remove bolts to take it off. Other option would be something similar to the JKU top Which could be quickly removed in its entirety and then folded and stored In a small space.

honestly just an aftermarket top thats a lower price than the oem $1,800 one. Man bun look, folding all the way down, and anything else, im indifferent...just a less expensive option would be phenomenal! though if i was being picky i think the safari style roof line is silly. A flat traditional looking top would be cool. Kinda like the pictures.

One of my favorite things about my jku was swapping the oem hard top out every spring for my trek top. And then back to hard top for the winter. of any Company out there ive always believed, for tops, we get the most bang for our buck from bestop.

Please get rid of the man bun look!! It makes look like the owner was too lazy to take the top fully down & needs an option to fully retract into the box... I also don’t like the fact it sits on the top catching debris & bugs that will end up in your Jeep when the top is back on the closed position

The dealer here told me over $2,300.00 ... forget that noise .... aaarrrgghhh

we need a tan top option. I got the dual top on mine and hated how the Wrangler you can get a tan top but the Gladiator you can’t. I know I’m not the only one here that’s been dying for a tan top.
