This might sound like an odd question, but is it possible for a dealership to turn down the volume or amp gain on the alpine system? I’ve brought mine in three times to have bad speaker rattles looked at (when it’s been in for other stuff) and they do their typical could not duplicate. However, after the last, it doesn’t sound as good and its not nearly as loud. It used to have much better range and sound great and if I listened to it at 24 it would hurt my ears. I was just messing with it because something isn’t right and listening to it all the way up at 34 and it wasn’t even as loud as it was at 24. I realize that different sources will have different audio quality and volume. I was listening through Apple Music with my phone plugged in. That normally sounds great and plays the loudest.
also, where is the amp? I need to look at itnto see if there’s a manual adjustment on it I can fix. Hopefully, it’s not something the dealership can only do. It makes me really mad because that’s a BS fix and I hit 36k miles right after that “service”.
