Get in your Gladiator and drive it out of that ripoff garage. A 2”-2.5” should not effect anything but add hight. But I would leave it stock and add taller tires to get actual ground clearance lift.
Sorry but this is incorrect. Without an adjustable tracbar the jeep will never be right. And it would benefit for a longer fixed or preferably adjustable lower control arms and ideally, adjustable uppers.
As far as the drag link its entirely plausible that the rod end is worn or the threads are seized depending on the environment and whether it was coated “on friday afternoon”

Haphazardly calling the garage a ripoff is completely unjustified

When paying to have your vehicle modified.....its not the parts cost, its the labor cost that get you. Most shops also charge more if the customer provides the parts.....since they won't make any margin on selling parts.

I wont speak to the quality of the parts, RC has a fairly justified reputation, but to each their own.

So still should just need a trackbar and some kind of caster correction. I'd ask for a break down of what they're giving, you what brand, and how much. If you arent changing tie rod or adding adjustable control arms, skip the alignment as well, other than toe they cant set anything and thats not going to change just because of a lift.

You are being ripped off. You could buy a good complete lift kit for that cost. Throw in some beer and get some guys to help you install it.

I haven't used RC much yet. Are you not a fan of their parts?

I generally recommend staying away from Rough Country. I’ve never bought anything from RC that I didn’t later regret and replace.
Quality Jeep suspension companies worth looking into include Rock Krawler, Clayton, Metal Cloak, AEV, Teraflex. Top shelf, very high dollar stuff is Currie and Savvy.

Good luck!
