I don't know what caused it. Maybe someone else can speculate. Maybe just a bad plug? We were running up a hill on a highway at higher RPMs when it happened.Man, that looks awesome. Love the pics. What caused the spark plug issue and had you get towed?
We were in Barstow, California which is a crappy area. We were just heading straight back home. Ran down to Palm Springs instead of staying in Barstow and were "stuck" in a Margaritaville resort for nine days while the dealership looked at it. When I saw the plug I figured there was at least valve damage (the exhaust valve was shot) and possibly cylinder damage. At that point we got a service to take it back to Florida and we got a rental. The local dealership fixed it under warranty.
