Do you have Prime?
Yep. Multiple times now I've made my selection based on next day delivery option, then two hours after I order they say "sorry, we're running late, it's going to be 6 days!"

Recently I had a package really late. Amazon "guaranteed" it would arrive the next day. "We can see it in the system!"
Then I got a hold of UPS and they said "oh yeah, we lost that a week ago, it's not coming at all."

Amazon recently built not one but two large facilities within half an hour of our metalworking shop (read: fancy mancave). A large Distribution center, "DNA6" I believe....and an even larger Fulfillment center called "TYS5".

All that is to say that it's gotten real dangerous for my wallet 'round here recently. Almost everything is same day or next day delivery now. They have people delivering 24-7 now. Like four o'clock in the morning deliveries.

I ordered bulk rolls of PETG filament for prototyping on our 3d printers this morning, and they were delivered (for free) before lunch. It's crazy.

I'm about 40 minutes from one, so they now have a ton of stuff claiming same day or next day, they just rarely ever manage to do it.

My wife has a Prime account. I found some gas struts I needed that had free shipping only for Prime members so I switched to her account. Imagine my surprise when I saw that the exact same item (same URL - I copy/pasted) was MORE expensive for Prime members than it was for me using my non-Prime account.

Still worked out a couple bucks cheaper given the free shipping, but really? WTH?

They change price based on who knows how many criteria. I've seen different price from phone to laptop at the same moment. Best guess it was related to things like different VPN locations and ad blockers on each one.

We have a Business Prime account and it has different pricing than standard Prime accounts as well. Especially so on items they deem as "relevant" to our business.

Yeah, Amazon's "Dynamic Pricing" takes some getting use to. I have also found that I get different pricing between my home and work computer due to different IP addresses. Some will also have coupons when the other does not.

Yep, I've tried to use that to my advantage, but as soon as you log in they go to"your" pricing instead of what you saw based on the IP.
I've had the wife's-vs-mine save a little now and then though.
