I had them put it in the front kick panel on the left side.

Do you have a picture of how they ran the wiring from the engine area to the cab? I think I found a plug that I can drill through, but want to make sure. Thanks

I don't have a good photo, but I mounted mine just below and to the right of the steering wheel, on the removable panel. It's worked well so far.

Sorry, I don't have a pic (I'll see if I can get one later today) but there's a large plastic grommet between the brake booster and the driver fender. I drilled a small hole there and fed the wiring in under the dash. I could pretty easily reach the wire up through the driver footwell. From there, I ran the wire along the sidewall and came into the area of the switch pretty easily. I mounted the switch almost exactly as indicated in Redwings' picture above. Works like a champ...
