Any plug and play harness that you know of or is splicing absolutely required? I plan to do speakers first then add amp if i still want moreIt is possible; we have run 60w Kenwood on our JKU. Spliced in to OEM harness.. Did install Kickers in the sound bar.
You can definitely change out the speakers first and it will help some with clarity, very little in volume gain. If after that you want to add a amplifier to power all the cabin speakers you can get a pac amp pro module that connects to the factory radio and will give you 3 sets of pre amp outputs ch1 ch2 ch3 ch4 and two for sub output should you want to add subwoofer. You can most definitely with the amp pro module harness buy a roll of 9wire speed wire which will run from say a 4 channel amplifier and plug into the amp pro harness feeding through the factory speaker wiring amplified.Hey guys, my wife recently got a new 26 wrangler and it has the base stereo in it. We need some photographic evidence of said dual HS-10s in the Gladiator.Look on ebay for the Kicker HS-10 powered subwoofer (cheaper if refurbished ). I bought two & they don’t take up any valuable storage space. Follow the trail seven install video. I also replced the top dash & soundbar speakers. Big difference but not the same as a dedicated amp/sub box

HS-12 is a fairly new release. Within the last few months. I didn’t know about it either until someone on here mentioned it. Slightly bigger footprint and slightly bigger amp.Didn’t know Kicker made a HS-12. But the HS-10 fits perfectly. If I remember right, I started with one sub & later added the second one which I tapped into the same speaker leads as subs are non directional & these are self amplified (just needed a signal). I did run a separate power & ground for each. I wish there was an easy way to add sub pre-outs on our basic radio (without headunit removal). I am using the Hi-pass setting currently
