What made you switch to it and what shocks did you go with?
Ride quality was the big reason. I wanted something a little bit more "cushy". I'm running Falcon SP2 3.3's... which is notoriously a more firm shock.

A lift raises the body regardless of tire size. I agree with what @Rahkmalla said. On the JT, with the long wheelbase, you'll be banging the frame on stuff waaay more than you'll be hitting axles. So a lift is still very beneficial, even without stepping up to huge tires. It increases ground clearance in a way that is beneficial on this platform, and keeps you from dragging on the ground. It'll keep anything supported by the springs farther from the ground.

Yes, the axles will still be relatively low to the ground, compared to increasing tire size at the same time, but you'll still bang everything else up less.

Thank you for the input. That was why I wanted a lift. To mitigate the amount of components getting banged up on the trail. I do need more experience but I figure I should try to be proactive where I can.
Still torn between AEV, Clayton and possibly Synergy.

Done with it
I have been making some calls and getting info on lift and shocks. I have narrowed it down to 3 choices for a small lift.
Mopar 2 inch lift that would possibly only be 1.5. The extended length of the shocks is still unknown.
Or,
Spacer lift front and rear 1.5. Shock extensions possible. Small added bump stop spacer possible.
Or,
Synergy 2 ich springs front and rear with Accutune Fox shocks. Small bump stop spacer. This would probably be the best as Accutune would fit the best length and custom tune for my weights.
I'll decide when I get more mods done.
