Finally got my Fas-Top. Took about 2 months from back order. I paid about $950 through Radco with a veteran discount. Installation was pretty simple although the instructions could have been better. Took me about 3 hours to install but I’m slow and particular. Had to call tech support twice during install but they were very knowledgeable and friendly and answered my questions. Here are some pictures. I tried to catch all the possible options that this set-up is capable of. I ordered the mesh rear window, the zipper storage bag and a pack of 4 J-hooks. You will need these extra J-hooks if you plan to roll the sides up. Due to spacing issues in the bed rail mounts, I wasn’t able to fit the zipper storage bag in to my satisfaction so I removed it. Otherwise, I think I’ll be happy with this set-up (for my needs). It takes a little practice to learn how to efficiently go back and forth with the multiple options this topper/tonneau is capable of but it’s not hard. Just spend an afternoon going back and forth through them all. I’m impressed with the thought and detail of engineering put into this. Fit and finish is pretty good for the price point.

Looks great. Getting close to a year with mine and still really like it.

Question for anyone that owns one… are these things roughly the same height from front to rear? They appear slightly shorter than the hard top at the front… some pictures make it look like they slowly grow taller towards the rear of the truck.
Perhaps? The height of the topper frame can be adjusted with cinching straps. I suppose I could cinch down the front tighter than the rear and make it sit a bit lower in front and vice versa.

Actually, I just looked more closely and the rear is indeed taller than the front by at least an inch if not a tad more. I tried loosing the straps on the front and tightening the rear and it didn't change the height too much.

Bumping this thread to see if anyone else has had installation issues with their Fastop… the brackets I received that screw into the factory welded nuts are all different sizes (8 brackets, 3 sizes, only 2 of which actually sit flush to the bed and the rail), which doesn’t make sense to my limited capacity brain. Instructions are for c clamp or trail rail. Customer service is very nice but only during working hours, and I generally work during those. Anyone with a helpful POV?

The c clamps and trail rail brackets are different sizes to compensate for the bed rail taper. I originally installed mine with the c clamps before they came out with the trail rail brackets. I then changed the install to use the trail rails. Which install are you doing?

Neither really, they said they only use the trail rail style brackets for gladiators now, even those without the rails.

I can’t imagine I’m supposed to install these anything but parallel with the bed. Will continue trying customer service…

Closing the loop here…
1. Really like the Fastop Travel package. Easy to switch back and forth from tonneau to topper.
2. Customer service was good, installation instructions a little weak, but product is very solid installed
3. Took a few weeks trying to get a bolt i sheared out of the bed’s welded nut. Be careful out there kids! Don’t over tighten your bolts… slow and steady!
Some pics of the topper on for perspective.

Glad to hear you like it as much as I do. I just have the topper, but have been very happy with it.

And thanks for your help!!!
Any time. I agree completely. Great family business service and support, but the instructions could be better. I folded mine down today to load up the snowblower, and remembered why I bought it. 2 minutes to get an open bed again.

I wish it wasn't "shiny" though. (in the market for one, wanted to like this one, function vs form strikes again)

It’s not twill, but it’s not shiny either. I find that it matches the black (unpainted) hard top extremely well.
