Antenna mount share for F150 diamondback hd

Just wanted to share my approach to mounting a magnetic cb antenna on a diamondback hd on an aluminum body f150. Used sanded 1/4” hot rolled 4” diameter steel plate with drilled counter sink hole a black Allen head bolt a rubber gasket a fender washer and a locking nut inserted in one of the existing latch bolts. Painted with two coats of rust oleum black paint. Hopefully pictures provide details if others want to repeat.

Motorized vhf/UHF mount, Diamondback cover is on a 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD
Whats crazy is the Tacoma and the Gladiator cover dimensions were not that much of a difference.

Currently waiting for DiamondBack to ship my SE cover for the new 23 Mojave,and will install this same mount. Chomp-in at the bit hope they get it shipped sooner.
