any difference between an 8.5" wide wheel and a 9"?

Anyone have any experience going between 8.5" wide wheels and 9"? is there a difference? MPG? Wander?

Hard to find any 9” wide wheels that have a decent positive offset so your wheels will stay under the fenders, for a 8.5” wide rim you want +25 or more.

the main difference is that 8.5 limits your tire choices to skinny tires only and they more tucked in. pick width based on desired tire width (also for clearance with offset) and looks (tugged in vs not)

the main difference is that 8.5 limits your tire choices to skinny tires only and they more tucked in. pick width based on desired tire width (also for clearance with offset) and looks (tugged in vs not)
