Any idea what this light is behind the rear seats?

I have these on the pillars behind both back seats. I don't recall seeing them in the owner's manual. They don't light up, but neither does my dome light. The only interior lights that work when opening the doors are the floorboard, dash, and door handles (very dim though). Will need to take it to the dealer for warranty work, but wonder if anyone else knows what the lights behind the seat are for before I ask them to repair those as well?

Tried the knobs near the light switch. I can get the floorboard lights to dim and turn on/off with the knob, but no dice on the dome light or the ones behind the seats. Lastly, the map reading lights all work, just the center dome light is non-functioning.

Anyone have the tech manual they can look in and possibly point me in the right direction as to things to look for? Dealership is 60 miles away and I'm sure I'm going to have to leave it overnight.

Make sure you don't have the interior lights turned down/off with the knob next to headlight switch.

Camp and MTB at Monte Sano SP! Beautiful up there. After I get settled in to owning a Jeep again I will be looking for group rides if you know of any.

Your dome light should come on when you open the door. If you already checked the dimmer, then something’s not working.

A blown fuse perhaps?

PS - the dome light dimmer is tied to your instrument lighting; the ambient lighting (foot wells) uses a separate dimmer.

I checked the one fuse I think is the correct one - F20 slot 30 AMP. See attached.

Perhaps FCA forgot to lay down the wiring for the lights!

Not really but I try to take a drive in Bankhead Nat. Forrest ever now and then, but I do live in the corner of it.
