Where do you get access to these wiring diagrams (and connector pinout diagrams)? I signed up for 3 days of TechAuthority and didn't see them, just the standard wiring diagrams.

My 22 JTRD does too, and I cut mine off for the exact same reason (Falcon 3.3s). Interfered with the adjuster lever and looked like it would gouge the hell out of the shock.

As far as I can tell it looks exactly like a bunch of other electrical ground points all over the Jeep, and there are others within easy reach if needed. I’m not losing sleep over it

My ‘21 JTRD had it also. Nothing attached to it. Twisted it out to install coilovers. It was the half covered hole in the pic. The lower hole I drilled to add nut and bolt for added support.

Its a grounding point on the frame. You will find these all over your jeep body and frame
Some being used and some not
If it is in you way cut it off

On my '22 JTRD this threaded stud is welded to the frame in my drivers side rear wheel well and it's dangerously close to my falcon 3.3's. It had a black nut screwed onto it that I took off, leaving just the stud behind. I'm thinking of just cutting it off and be done with it. Passenger side does not have it. I've asked others with JT's and none of them have it either. Google searching brings up bubkis.

Any ideas what this is for?

I had it on my 23’ JTRD and I have the same shocks as you do. The bolt hit and damaged the adjuster on mine. It appears to be a ground point because it looks just like the ones by the battery. I cut it off! I would suggest you do the same to prevent damaging your shock also. Teraflex customer service was great, they sent me new parts to repair it thank goodness.

That’s awesome Teraflex sent ya over replacement parts, but damn! This was my fear, that it would mangle the dial. Sorry that happened to ya.

I’m definitely cutting mine off. I just need to get a sawzall or angle grinder. I’ve got the dial set to “1” for the time being, as that seems to keep it out of harms way.

Yeah just an unused ground. Cut it, grind it, paint it, ship it.
