Any led headlight bulbs worth it?

Help a Jeep-noob out here. What's a decent price if someone were to find a set of takeoff factory LED's?

I think I've read that you also need either a taser or the dealer to change a setting for them to work right.

If you can find an nice set, 4-500 is more than fair. But I picked up a set skyline-head-lights for 450 a few years ago. .. Similar to the DV8 set... OEM looking and been great since I had them. My buddy picked up the DV8 ones and he loves his as well. I posted a review of them... But I never did get photos of the light output now I'm thinking about it... Maybe I'll do that. The price for used oem ones at the time we're going for 800

Obtw, with take-off OEM LED lights, the best route is to buy the tazor vs dealership. If I remember correctly you have to tap into a wire for the halos to work.

Eventually I'll probably cave and buy some aftermarkets, but I'm always open to options if the deal is right. (Which is why I had to ask what a deal is on jeep headlights!) Unless a deal does come up on headlights I'll probably do wrap around taillights first, but those seem to fall mainly into two categories: Too expensive and so cheap I'm afraid of them.

Yeah I wanted OEM but for me at the time, people were selling them almost the same price as new from mopar. But I don't regret buying the overtread and my buddy is super happy with his DV8. Pretty sure they are the same manufacture between the three.

The only taillights I like are between the OEM led and oracle...but I can't justify the cost of them lol

Just beware that although it is very easy pickup a set of LED bulbs, LED replacement bulbs are not legal for on-road use inside of headlight housing designed for halogen bulbs. This is technically a modification of safety device and was not tested or approved by DOT/NHTSA/FMVSS108. Can you get a ticket for it yes... Likely hood, probably not. I know Diod dynamics and headlight revolutions have these notices on their websites.

If you want LED, highly recommend buying new headlight ssemblies designed for LED technology

Another option is to keep the halogens and add LED driving lights relayed off the high beams. These can be driving combo lenses which provide additional wide angle light beyond the typical high beams alone. And add LED fog lights to help with the low beams, amber to stand out more in traffic.

(I see the original poster is in Florida so snow isn't an issue, but halogens can be useful for snow and ice.)
