Question -
Is a wireless bra battery operated, or does that mean it requires WiFi?

Well, yeah, but 2 gallons is two gallons. It’s not like you can tuck it behind the rear seat back like I can my little ViAir. I just need to air my tires up occasionally, not build a deck. ?
I get it. It’s not like it’s in there every day. Just when I go on longer offroad trips. My 10lb co2 take however, is always in the bed. I can air up 6-8 times on average before refilling it. I don’t bring the compressor unless it’s a long trip. It’s usually only used to lend out to others to speed up their air ups.

It’s a very nice piece of kit, no doubt. Just overkill for my (very casual) needs.

That I understand. At the time, it was an upgrade from a small 12v inflator, but I already owned lots of 18v batteries at the time as well. In hindsight, the co2 that I upgraded to after, would have been cheaper.

I keep a Dewalt wireless in my Jeep at all times. It’s become quite handy and earned its costs long ago

I looked into the cordless pumps a couple of years ago and unless things have changed, they all have dinky pumps that don't move a lot of air. They're just not enough to to inflate a big 33-37" tire without being seriously over-worked - unless you're just topping one tire off a couple of pounds or so. I went with a nice corded ViAir pump that attaches directly to my battery (so as not to blow the power port fuse) instead. It inflates a tire MUCH faster than the cheap discount store corded pump I had before. It's really not that much of an inconvenience to unwind the cord and hook it up to the battery... and that's one less battery I have to worry about keeping charged.
My Dewalt has aired up 4 33lb tires with bar left over

Last Christmas there was a sale on the Makita with 2 batteries. I snatched one up and I have used it 2 times on runs. I have been using one that works off the battery but it took a few minutes to get going.

With the Makita, I just set the pressure setting and start. When I get through, I just move to the next tire. I have used the same battery on 2 runs to air up from 20 to 35 on each tire after the runs.
