Have done a bit of car, kart, moto racing and now that I live in Denver figure I might as well get into Ice Racing as I can do it in my Jeep vs going out an buying a racecar/bike/kart.
Plan is to start in the bare rubber competition class using the factory tires.
Wondering if anyone has any tips in general?
-Min tire pressure allowed is 10PSI. (I have noted that 8psi is the lowest that is recommended for offroading with factory wheels and tires, I figure go to the 10PSI limit)
-Do I want a full tank of fuel for the extra weight, or close to empty?
-The rule book does not mention adding ballast/weight, would I want to if its allowed?
-Sway bar disconcerted? (May have to look into electrically disabling it so it does not reconnect over 20mph)
What else?
