Anyone else’s steering do this?

I’m about to buy a new 2021 Gladiator Mojave or Rubicon. Do they normally come with the TSB applied and do you all still recommend a steering stabilizer on the 2021s (even after TSB). Will probably stick with the 33s for now. Thanks

I believe all the new ones come with the steel gearbox. On the TSB thread there is a picture of the tops of the gear boxes so you can pop the hood and immediately tell if it the aluminum or steel version. Every JT is different I guess but I had no wobble or wonder when I was all stock. You might just want to drive a new one for a bit and see if you really need any correction. Odds are you’ll run straight with no wobble with a stock Rubicon or Mojave.

sorry forgot to mention I had the steering TSB done already. Helped with the wander but not this.

There's a bunch of things. Check the easy ones first.

When I was a baby engineer my manager said to ask questions.

"Did it ever work?"
If Yes, "What's changed?"

So I would be checking the new steering bolts on the steering gear. Checking the torque.

And the fluid level in the steering gear reservoir.

I wonder if they reflashed the system as they are supposed to?...I wonder if they did mine. It would be easy to mark it off as done, without doing the work.

That TSB was replaced with another. It includes more work for my Wrangler. I'm not sure about the Glad.

I don't like paying to upgrade the Jeep just because the parts, assembly or service was bad. Course it's another matter if it's to upgrade the Jeep or make it stronger. Funny. I was on another forum. The Admin got all righteous with me when I said it was steering box (steering gear) about a year and a half ago. He suggested a bunch of changes. Fall of 2019.
