Logically that’s an inch thinner and would work. Being as I only rubbed on full tilt, maybe. I just can’t 100% confirm.Have you heard of anyone doing fine with tires that have a width of 11.5 or less?

Lovely looking rig, have you tried the tires on the stock wheels?I have a Sport with non max-tow (recent photo attached). I installed 35s and a 2 inch lift and have never had any rubbing issues. A year ago (soon after the upgrade) I did a rather major road trip about 1,000 miles from home and got severe death wobbles due to some wear in steering parts. Had to leave my truck behind at a local mechanic and fly home, so it basically ruined my adventure (and left me rather freaked out whenever I hit a bump in the road). Eventually got the truck road-ready again and flew back to drive it home.
When I did the original upgrade no one mentioned to me about the value of upgrading the steering and brakes also. So I have since done a full upgrade of the steering componentry (Metalcloak everything) and put on big brakes (Powerbrake X-Line) and feel way better about my on-road and off-road reliability. I know lots of folks do 37s and 40s, but I'm really happy with my 35s now that I have the full rebuild done properly.
Incidentally - thanks to those folks who put in the links to the VIN build sheets. Super helpful to see what I actually have installed on my rig. Hard to get good detail down under! Cheers all.

Thanks for the input man, I'm one of the few that likes the oem wheels and want to keep 'em. Just trying to make sure I get it rightI ran 285/75r17's (34x11.5) on my 2020 Overland on stock sport wheels with a JKS lift, no rubbing when disconnected. I had plenty of room to go to a 35x11.5. I think you should go for it OP.
Not the same but I run 37's on my stock Mojave wheels, no intent to ever swap the wheels out! Thanks for the input man, I'm one of the few that likes the oem wheels and want to keep 'em. Just trying to make sure I get it right
I've run 34"x11.5 and had zero rubbing. I now have 35"x12.5 and they rub the sway bar at full turn on the stock rims. So you can do it, just stick to your guns with your 11.5" width thinking. FYI, I am just running the Teraflex 1.5" leveling.I'm thinking of adding an AEV 2.5 lift to my sport s (non-max tow) and bigger tires, but I want to keep my stock wheels. Just wondering if anyone have any issues with articulation or clearance with keeping the stock wheels. Thinking of just sticking with tires that have a width of 11.5 or lower.
Edit: non-max tow
