I know the under portion of the fender flare is wider on the Max Tow to accommodate the extra width of the axles. I want to order a fender chop kit and only see Sport options, if the top of the fenders are the same then I’ll order it. Are the fenders themselves the same type/width etc? I’m not concerned about the bottom portion (flare) as it will all be removed.

Aren't all the fenders on the Base Sport one-piece? AKA, they don't have a "bottom portion" to remove. If I recall, the Max-Tow package includes the two-piece fender flares. Seems like that would be a valid enough reason for things not to be interchangeable.

I have a base Sport and the fenders are two piece with a separate inner liner.
