Has anyone installed the Clayton off-road 1.5” leveling kit and what are your thoughts?

I believe there was one forum member who installed the kit, we'll have to see if he chimes in or not! We haven't started fully marketing it yet as we were waiting for some components to arrive, but we did install it on our shop JT and it rides like a dream! Just took it on a 4-hour trip a few weeks back and my wife and I enjoyed it the entire way!I like to hear about all different gear so it’s fine. I have the rough country 2.5” leveling kit and it’s higher in the front by a half Inch but that is also because of the rear squat from the weight of the camper shell. I am going to put an icon 1.38” spacer In the rear to get and get the back up enough to fit a 37
@kaeo_15 do you have any pics?I have the front springs from the leveling kit (Already had the other parts from various companies) and they are great. I have them paired with the 2-3” Fox 2.0s. They seem to give more than 2” of lift when using longer than stock shocks, so just FYI. I wish Clayton offered a slightly shorter rear spring. I went with the Icon 1.5” triple rate for the rear.
Reviving this thread.Got my Icon multirate 1.5” rears this morning. Perfect height (unloaded). Front went 3” with the clayton leveling springs and the Icon’s ar 20.5” OAL and gave me ~2.5” in the rear.

I think as long as you installed a new rear track bar to properly center the rear axle, and a new set of sway bar end links in the rear, you should be good to go!Reviving this thread.
Debating getting this leveling kit, with Fox 0-1.5” shocks for the front, then doing the rear with Mopar 2“ coils, with the Fox 2” shocks. I want to keep some rake. any thoughts on this combo?
I used the bilstien b8 5160's for the rear. They are pretty cool because they have a stock collapsed length (some of the lift shocks without remote reservoirs don't) but can be used for 3-4.5" lift. So you have a lot of range to choose a spring. You don't have to mess with bump stops because the stock stops will hit before you get to the shock due to the 17" collapsed length. I am running a 26" limiting strap eye to eye because the shocks are now not the limiting factor in droop. Though with stock rear LCA's I don't think they will flex enough to drop a spring out. I dunno how they compare to the fox's but I really like the way they ride. Super controlled and with the longer travel it really absorbs everything.Reviving this thread.

Looking good! So this is with the Clayton leveling kit up front, and the Icon 1.5” coils in the rear? No rear spacer? Looks like you might have a slight rake, which is what I’m looking for.I’ll get some better pics but these are with 35x10.5 kendas so I didn't have to toss my stock rims. I find this is really a great height for every day. It still has a bunch of clearance but my kids don't have too much trouble getting in an out without steps.

Yes no spacer. It is weird. I think it is due to the body lines sometimes it looks level sometimes a little nose high and sometimes a little rake. I will probably put the spacer back in at some point. The clayton 2.5" triple rate rears have a 21.5" Free OAL They should give you and inch over the icons. I think that would give it a really good look with a bit more pronounced rake and wouldn't dip as much when you load the bed. If you have a heavy winch bumper though it maybe too much rake. I put the mopar lift kit sway bar links on the rear. Cheap and easy.Looking good! So this is with the Clayton leveling kit up front, and the Icon 1.5” coils in the rear? No rear spacer? Your rake looks like it’s coming from the rear, not the front. I would imagine having both 1.5“ coils in the front and the rear, the rear would be higher because there is less weight? I think I’d rather go with your type of setup, to avoid getting a rear track bar or any other components.Yes no spacer. It is weird.
