Anyone order Gladiator with cold air intake system by Mopar?

People who know me would be laughing at the inference that I don't "get on it".

Trust me I've seen red line however since it is just my daily I don't always drive it like I stole it.

Got on it when I first got it and get on it now. Seems the same to me. Again, I didn't pick this item. I have CAI on my show car. This ain't a show vehicle.

Interesting. I wonder if having the hood cutout makes any difference in sound. My hood isn't cut because I have a Mojave. I've actually gotten comments on how nice my JT sounds when getting on it - from both passengers and bystanders.

That is an interesting difference. Does your Mojave have the Mopar factory CAI? Mine has the grill in the hood and a closeout panel for when you wash it. Keeps you from spraying water directly into the filter box.

Mine was not factory installed. I purchased the Mopar CAI part number 77072433AC, but I only installed the top half of the air box and the intake tube. The hood opening parts don't fit the contour of the Mojave hood, so they weren't installed. I'm also still using the factory paper air filter.

I did the same. I have an Overland, but I have a light mounted where the hood opening goes, so I skipped it for now. I also use the paper filter. I put it on to get rid of the baffles, and for the larger intake tube. It does sound different, especially when I step on it, but no noticable performance change. Mostly, I just like how it looks and sounds.

I agree 100%. The sound gives the 3.6 a little bit of 'character'.

I lnow this is an old dead thread but I’m trying to buy the hood bezel and can’t find one anywhere. Would anyone here be willing to part with theirs?
