Anyone paint or coat their stock silver sport wheels?

Try plastidip. It is not as durable as paint but you can go back to stock look easily.

Too much shine put on the tires by the detailer but you get the idea!
Duplicolor black wheel paint with matte clear. Turns out amazing

What did it cost you to get them coated. I wanted to coat the wheels on my 2003 cobra when I had it and the local place wanted $200 per rim

Hmmmm. It was $100 or maybe a little less per wheel. $375 for the set sounds familiar but it was 13 months ago and I've had a few bourbons in that time so don't quote me on that. They mounted and balanced the tires when they were done and even did the lug nuts. You can't use an impact on the lug nuts though. I've rotated them twice so far and the finish on the lug nuts still is intact.
