I won’t be pushing it out…. But probably a little further in (if I go with 8” wheel) due to the no-poke factor.Be aware that moving the centerline of the tire out may change handling........... and necessitate a change in toe. it all depends on what you do.
If you keep the centerline of the tire where it is in relationship to the face of the hub, you'll be taking less risk.
However…. I’m seeing there’s only 2” of clearance in the rear with the Fox shocks. No concern on the front - the Fox shocks are tucked next (& behind) the coils.
This is all good information, as its making me think a little harder. I‘ll definitely take the wheels off to look at the specs. Information online varies (and can‘t be trusted).
I’m assuming that 2” clearance in the rear is something I’ll want to stay with…..for suspension travel. Not that I’m ever gonna go offroad to flex it….but, that’s a concern also.
