Hey guys,

I need to navigate through here better but haven’t seen much of any gladiators running 265’s? I see plenty of 285 and up but I am considering upgrading my stock sport-s tire from 245 to 265/70/17’s. Does anybody have any feedback or pics running some 265’s?

Thanks!

I went to a 255-75-17 tire because I got a great deal on JK wheels with BFG KM2s.
But I really want a better highway tire and am considering BFG KO2 in 265-70-17, plus I can get them with white letters which I'd prefer.

On my 2013 JK, which was traded for the Gladiator, I ran 265-70-17 Goodyear Trailrunner tires and I liked the size and width. I wish I'd kept them.

Not sure if you already made your decision but here’s mine on KO2. No complaints, issues but I regret not going all the way to 285.

BTW, I like to look of white letters out....

Diameter wise the 265/70 will be virtually the same as a 245/75 but about .75" wider. They should work fine if that's what you want to do. If you want to stay close to the same size I would suggest a 255/75 tire. A touch taller and wider but not so much you should have to mess around with the computer.

my 265/70 are close to 2” taller than my wife’s jl running on the stock 245/75. And yes wider. I wonder if the diameter is because they are ATs.
