There have been a lot of threads on here about bent pins and door electrical issues. One of the threads finally showed us it was the white plastic piece that does not slide in and out to protect the pins that was causing the issues. Because of that thread I go my wire harness replaced under warranty because the piece was faulty. Because of this issue I purchased the bestop soft doors to minimize using that connector. (Side note I love the soft doors, yeah they're not perfect, but they were awesome all summer.) When I went to put my hard doors on yesterday, I noticed the white piece on the new harness did not slide forward and I had to very carefully connect the door to the jeep again. Thank goodness it connected correctly.

So, with that being said, has anyone on here replaced the electrical connectors for the front doors. I have read ideas on the forum before, but I am interested in anyone who has actually done this.

@JeepCares why don't you finally own this issue and just offer a connection replacement kit for those of us with this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Have not replaced the connection but when the white plate is stuck down I use a dentist type pick to force it into the upper position...
