Can’t speak for the doors, but my dad has had some great luck with EAG on his Jeep. He just put of their rear bumpers on in fact. Says the fit was exact with no surprises and appears to be well built (especially for their prices).

Thanks, Tyler. Every review is 5 stars for quality. In fact, the only negatives I could find were associated with shipping issues (damage, wrong product, etc.)

yes! Love them. Takes a little Mechanical effort to hang them right the 1st time, and I used a small 1" heavy foam tape piece to keep them from vibrating when closed. so they are pretty good doors. I actually bought mine before I took delivery of my JT last July.

Wasn't the bumper that peeled a toe hook off and looked like a can opener got it an EAG bumper?

I thought that was an aluminum bumper, being used at a sideways angle. but where is that pic? I have the EAG bumper with a winch on it, and I've not had any problems as of yet. Fit and finish are perfect.

I just found it too. I'll look into this. I can see where that right/driverside of this bumper was push/bent in, which probably weakened that whole area, but, you are correct, you get what you pay for. That said, I do like the EAG doors. I like it way better than no doors.

That's a really bad design.
That shackle mount is basically cosmetic. Without a load path to the frame it's going to fail miserably. Even the factory hooks are bolted directly to the frame. This surface welded only way is going to get someone hurt.

I only bring this up as it speaks to the quality of their engineering.

This might not be an EAG bumper. Just going off what I thought I read somewhere. If anyone with the EAG can see if there tow points are just surface welded like this one and not bolted to the frame I'd appreciate it.

I would disagree with you, in one certain respect. A properly made and attached bumper is an integral part of the frame. That said, the quality of it decides what its failure points will be. I'm sure there are some bumpers out there that will pop grade 8 bolts off the mounting point to the frame, and there are some bumpers that are far superior to the frame itself. Once again, you are going to get what you pay for. If you use any tool incorrectly, you stand the chance of failure, like side loading the tow hook/shackle pintles. watch the reviews and what they are judging the reviews on. If its looks, then you should probably base you expectations on just looks.

Valid points Oscar. That said, I like the EAG doors, just don't attach a tow strap to them if you get stuck.
