Ok, ok,
So I know this has been discussed to death in other threads.
I just need a sanity check before I lay the cash down to install the Teraflex 1½ in front levelling kit and Daystar ¾ in rear.
Shock extensions are illegal over here and at this stage I don’t intend on added longer or adjustable LCA’s or trackbar.
My eyes hurt from reading so many threads about it. For reference I have a Australian Spec JT Rubi (max tow style front fenders, not high fenders like in the US)
I do get off road, get her as flexed as I can, that’s what we got it for, but I am not in the position for a full lift at the moment– Currently running 33’s, going to 34’s when my next tyre set is due
Anyway, I am expecting after install for
I am mechanically savvy but definitely not a mechanic so will be getting someone local to install for me (not a dealer)
Any guidance in appreciated
Cheers

- It to be a little more twitchy at freeway speeds due to slightly lower caster but not excessive.
- The front axle will shift sideways half inch or so due to the track bar angle change, but wont affect the vehicle tracking on the road (not crabbing)
- Due to the 1in bump stop extensions in the Teraflex front levelling kit – will I lose 1in of shock travel ?
- If I added the Teraflex Falcon Progressive bump stops that are 1½ in longer than stock would I not fit the bump stop extensions from the levelling kit – or because of the compression rate of the progressive bump stops I would still need them (https://teraflex.com/jt-progressive-bump-stop-kit-front-rear-0-4-5-lift.html)
- If adding them would work for the front (without using the kits extensions) , if I added the rear Progressive bump stops would I actually loose travel due to there additional length over stock (as the spacer is only ¾ inch – the progressive stop 1 ½ inch longer
- I have the LED headlights etc- the manual states the headlights are self levelling – so do I assume no adjustment is required after the spacer install ?
