This weekend I installed the ARB diff covers for my gladiator. M210 on the front and M220 for the rear. Has anyone else installed these? How much oil did you use for front and rear? Yes I know there is a dipstick. I asked an online retailer and they recommended 2.7 quarts front and rear. Which seems like a lot.
I put in a little over a quart in the front and around 2 quarts in the rear
I marked the dipsticks by following the instructions that came with the ARB covers. With the dipstick resting on, but not screwed in the cover, the marks ended up being as follows:
Front: 3/8” up from the tip of the magnet.
Rear: 13/16” up from the tip of the magnet

Thanks! Sorry but I have yet another question: did you have to add a sway bar relocation bracket to the front sway bar?
I've read conflicting things. I saw one youtube video where a guy in Canada added these to his jeep Gladiator. He didn't mention a thing about a relocation bracket in the video, yet in the comments someone asked did he have to add a sway bar/track bar relocation bracket and he replied that, yes, he had to add one! So that leaves me with questions.
When I go off-road it is generally here in Georgia on rutted muddy roads where I just mainly worry about getting stuck in deep mud and that's about it. However, every January/February I go to places in Arizona and just over into California (wiley wells road, Blythe Ca. area) out in the desert where there are deep ravines and washes and I really max-out my Jeeps stock suspension. So I don't want to be out there, literally 20 miles away from pavement, and find out that I should have added a relocation bracket and get bound up in a ditch. So if you or anyone else knows whether a relocation bracket is needed or not that would be a big help.
Thanks! Rodney

Hi Rodney,
I have a 2021 JTR with a 2 1/2” Clayton Overland+ lift. The front sway bar is a non issue as it is located well away from the ARB cover. The front trackbar (Clayton) has about a 1/2” minimum clearence at full flex. The rear swaybar did hit the ARB cover at full droop on the passenger side of the cover. I ground off a portion of the cover to clearance this area. If I had known about the relocation spacers for the rear sway bar, I would have used them instead of grinding on the cover for clearance.

Hey, Thanks for taking the time to reply. I did the online chat thing with quadratech and they said that I'll definitely have issues if I add the front cover to a stock suspension. They said that at full compression when the suspension bottoms out that it would hit the top of the cover. My truck bottoms out on occasion if Im not careful because the diesel engine is so heavy.
So now I need to figure out a way to get around the sway bar hitting the cover short of doing a 2" lift. Thanks for including the info about the rear swaybar as well. I haven't had any problems yet here at home but would for sure once I go out West to the desert.
